UM proposed amendments to the Draft Laws
UM proposed amendments to the Draft Law on family mediation to implement joint custody in the Balearic Islands.
UM has offered a number of amendments to the Bill Baleares family mediation in order to regulate in the community the issue of custody to be that the regime prrred to apply in cases where no agreement is reached among parents of children.
The president and deputy of the formation of the Joint Group, Josep Melia, stressed that joint custody is moving, tera gold, towards equal rights between the parents, as well as in the "responsibility" they have to the education of their children.
Additionally, Melia has stated that they have taken the presentation of amendments to regulate other "collateral issues" such as those relating to the use of the family home or the possibility of including other family members in visitation of children, not only, gaia gold, to parents and grandparents.
The 'uemita' has stressed that his party "supports" the Bill submitted by the Government but it is "incomplete according to their bases and fundamentals." (
